What CodeBeautify.dev is

CodeBeautify.dev helps you finish small digital tasks without an account or an installation. Compress and resize a photo, combine PDF files, count words, clean text, calculate a percentage or convert a measurement. It also includes the tools that started the project: formatters for JSON, XML, YAML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL and CSV; converters between those formats; encoders and decoders for Base64, URLs, HTML entities and JWTs; generators for UUIDs, hashes, passwords and QR codes; and utilities such as a regex tester, a diff checker and a cron expression parser.

There is nothing to install and no account to create. Open a tool, paste your input and get a result.

Why we built it

Formatting a messy JSON response, decoding a JWT or finding the indentation error in a YAML file should not require installing an editor plugin — and it certainly should not require sending production data to an unknown server. Many online tools upload whatever you paste. We wanted a toolbox we could use with real data at work, so we built every tool to run entirely in the browser.

How the tools work

Everything runs on your device

Each tool is plain JavaScript that runs in your browser tab. Formatting and conversion use established open-source libraries — Prettier, js-yaml, sql-formatter, Terser, marked and Turndown — while hashing and signature checks use the browser’s built-in Web Crypto API. Your input is never uploaded or stored by the tools. Saved tools and recent tools store only tool addresses in this browser, never file contents or text. You can verify this in your browser’s developer tools: using a tool produces no network requests to our servers.

Built for real work

We add the options we reach for ourselves: key and rule sorting, indentation choices, seven SQL dialects, line-and-column error messages, a collapsible tree view for JSON, XML and YAML, bulk UUID generation, and HMAC signature verification for JWTs. Every tool page also explains the format it works with, with examples and answers to common questions.

Tested across browsers

The site uses standard browser features and responsive layouts for desktop and mobile. Automated browser checks cover the main tool workflows. Where a feature depends on browser support — for example encoding images to WebP — the tool tells you clearly when your browser cannot do it.

Who we are

CodeBeautify.dev was founded by Emrah Sami Uyanık, an Adobe Certified Adobe Commerce developer with 16 years of Magento experience, and is developed and maintained by his company Softaware Commerce Ltd, a software agency that builds and maintains e-commerce platforms, with a focus on Magento 2. Years of debugging integrations, API payloads and deployment configuration taught us which small tools we use constantly — this site is that toolbox, made public.

CodeBeautify.dev is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any other website with a similar name.
