No installs, no accounts, no uploads — just paste, format, and go.

Our Mission

We built CodeBeautify.dev because the daily task of formatting a messy JSON blob, decoding a JWT, or fixing YAML indentation shouldn't require installing a package, spinning up an editor extension, or trusting an unknown site with your data. Our mission is to keep a full toolbox of dependable, well-built formatters a single tab away, for free, for everyone.

Every tool on this site processes your input entirely on the client side, using the same libraries (Prettier, js-yaml, sql-formatter, Terser, and the Web Crypto API) that power professional developer tooling. Nothing you paste is ever uploaded, logged, or stored on a server.

Built for Real Work

Each tool goes beyond a bare-bones textbox: sort keys, choose indent size and style, verify a JWT signature, generate UUIDs in bulk, test a regex with live highlighting. These are the options we found ourselves reaching for, so we built them in.

Free, With No Sign-up

Every tool is free to use, with no account, no rate limit, and no watermark on your output. The site is supported by ads so it can stay that way.

Who We Are

CodeBeautify.dev is developed and maintained by the team behind Softaware Commerce Ltd, an e-commerce agency specializing in Magento 2 solutions. Years of building and maintaining production e-commerce systems taught us exactly which small developer tools we reach for constantly — and that's what we've packaged up here.
