The short version

The formatting tools on this site run entirely in your browser. Whatever you paste into a formatter — JSON, code, a JWT, anything — is processed locally on your device and is never sent to, stored on, or logged by our servers. Like most websites, we do use cookies for advertising, described below.

Information we do not collect

None of the content you enter into any tool on this site (JSON, XML, YAML, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, CSV, Base64, JWTs, or anything else) is transmitted to our servers or any third party. All formatting, encoding, decoding, and validation happens with JavaScript running in your own browser.

Server logs

Like most web servers, our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard technical information for each request (such as IP address, browser type, and requested page) for security and diagnostic purposes. This is standard web server behavior and is not linked to the content you process with our tools.

Cookies and advertising

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure ad performance. Third-party libraries

Several tools load open-source JavaScript libraries (such as Prettier, js-yaml, sql-formatter, and Terser) from public content delivery networks to perform formatting in your browser. These libraries run locally once loaded and do not transmit the content you format.

This site is intended for general audiences, including developers, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
