Reporting a bug
Bug reports are most useful when they include:
- the address of the tool, for example
https://codebeautify.dev/json/; - a small sample input that reproduces the problem — please remove any passwords, tokens or personal data first;
- what you expected to happen and what happened instead, including any error message;
- your browser and operating system, for example “Firefox 131 on Windows 11”.
Because every tool runs locally in your browser, we never see the data you entered. A reproducible example is the only way for us to investigate.
Suggesting a tool or feature
If there is a format you work with that we do not support, or an option that would save you time, tell us what you are trying to do and we will consider it for a future update.
Privacy and legal requests
For questions about personal data, including requests to access or delete data under the GDPR or similar laws, use the same contact form and start your message with “Privacy request”. Our privacy policy explains what little data we hold. For advertising-related concerns about a specific ad, you can also use the “Why this ad?” link shown on the ad itself.
