Date Calculator
Plan a deadline, count a countdown or find a date a few weeks away. Calendar days, without time-of-day complications.
Count the days between two dates
Choose the start and end dates, then Calculate. By default, the result is the elapsed number of days: from Monday to Tuesday is one day. Select Include the end date to count both dates, making the same example two days. If the dates are reversed, the tool shows the absolute distance and explains that the end date is earlier.
Add or subtract days
Switch to Add or subtract days. Choose a starting date and enter a whole number. Positive numbers move forward and negative numbers move backward. For example, adding seven days to 1 March gives 8 March. The result is a calendar date, independent of daylight-saving changes.
Calendar days, not working days
This calculator includes Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. It does not apply business calendars or country-specific holidays. Date-only values are calculated in UTC internally to avoid a missing or repeated hour around daylight-saving changes. Supported dates run from year 0001 through 9999.
Frequently asked questions
Is the start date included?
The default result is an elapsed duration. Include the end date adds one to that duration, so a same-day range is one inclusive day rather than zero.
Can I calculate months between dates?
This tool gives an exact day count because months have different lengths. For a calendar breakdown in years, months and days, use the age calculator.
